Plugging Along ~ Hoffman Challenge

I worked a little more on my Hoffman doll after work yesterday. Her costuming still has quite a ways to go, even though I'm not sure where I'm headed. She's about 15 inches tall, well within the size limitation (whew!). There's nothing like finishing your doll only to realize she's too big!

Don't I know it! She looks wonderful. Love how you used the zigzag. I tried to but just couldn't fit it in.

Her face is just so beautiful--probably my favorite doll face ever!

Thank you so much, ladies!

I'm finding it challenging to add more of both the zigzag and challenge fabrics, Stephanie. I've made her a vest/duster of the zigzag, but it's pretty overpowering. Hmmm - maybe I need to applique some of the flowers.

Shayla - you made my day!

As always Deanna, lovely! Great use of the fabrics.

Wonderful and sweet! I love the little buttons on her top. If you need inspiration, Deanna, just look at Shelley Thornton's work. Scale doesn't matter to her, it's all about how it combines together. Can't wait to see her finished!
